Smoothie bowls are a year-round, healthy treat. Great for breakfast or a mid-day snack, this recipe features our Orange Papaya iced tea blend, energizing tropical fruit and crunchy granola to give you a boost.

Orange Papaya Smoothie Bowl from above, with spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 Tea Forté Tea Over Ice Orange Papaya pyramid infuser
  • 6 ounces of filtered water
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen banana
  • ½ of a orange, peel and seeds removed
  • ¼ cup frozen raspberries
  • ¼ cup of granola
  • Optional toppings: Fresh papaya, pineapple and blueberries

  • Directions

    1. In a small pot, bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Add the pyramid tea infuser and steep for 5 minutes, covered. After steeping, discard the pyramid and refrigerate the liquid until chilled, about 10 minutes.
    2. In a blender add the chilled tea liquid and remaining ingredients (except granola and optional toppings) and blend until thick and smooth. Pro Tip: Add more liquid if blend is too thick, add more frozen fruit if too thin.
    3. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and add granola and fruit toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!

    Yield: One 3-cup serving
