Recipe by: LANEY & LU

  • Prep time:15 minutes
  • Cook time:None

Ingredients

  • 1 Tea Forté Mango Citron pyramid infuser, or 1 tsp of loose leaf tea
  • 6 ounces of filtered water
  • 1 frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¼ of a grapefruit, peel and seeds removed
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Optional toppings: fresh sliced mango, grapefruit, strawberries, mint sprigs

  • Directions

    1. In a small pot, bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Add the pyramid tea infuser or loose tea and steep for 5 minutes, covered. After steeping, discard the pyramid or strain out the tea leaves and refrigerate the liquid until chilled, about 10 minutes.
    2. In a blender add the chilled tea liquid and remaining ingredients (except toppings) and blend until thick and smooth. Pro Tip: Add more liquid if blend is too thick, or more frozen fruit if too thin.
    3. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and add the fruit toppings. Get creative by adding your favorites. Serve immediately and enjoy!
