ICED ORANGE PAPAYA
ABOUT ICED ORANGE PAPAYA
Tea Type: Black Tea
Experience the refreshing realm of artisan-crafted iced tea. Tea Forté’s Orange Papaya is an alluring black tea blend bringing together the tangy goodness of orange peel and sweet lushness of ripe papaya.
This bold, pleasant tea is a citrus-forward beverage, leading with the familiar sweetness of orange and giving way to a juicy papaya note in the middle. Balanced by lemon myrtle and a touch of grapefruit, it delivers a satisfying tanginess that soon dissolves into a mellow finish. This amber-hued tea offers a sweet moment of repose with naturally present caffeine to reinvigorate the body and mind.
Black tea is one of the most well-known forms of tea. It is harvested from the mature leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant, which also gives us green, white and oolong tea. Black tea leaves undergo a more rigorous process of rolling and oxidation than their lighter, younger counterparts, coaxing out their darker color and more complex flavors and aromas. As a result, black tea is one of the most robust of all tea varieties and can be steeped longer and in slightly hotter water to bring out its flavor. It also lends itself well to a touch of sugar or citrus garnish for those who enjoy an accoutrement or two. Orange Papaya’s smooth mélange of tropical fruit flavors will entice you, if you wish, to enjoy a second cup.
Elevating iced tea to a higher level, Tea Forté transforms a cool glass of iced tea into an entertaining event. Experience authentic iced tea with the balance and beauty of our innovative Tea Over Ice Pitcher Set. The hand-crafted ingenious design of our Steep & Chill glass pitcher set delivers delicious and refreshing iced tea steeped and chilled moments before you drink it. Tea Over Ice unlocks the diverse and subtle flavors and rich cool scent to deliver the ultimate gourmet iced tea.
Iced Tea was first popularized at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair when the India delegation couldn't persuade attendees to try their hot tea in the sweltering summer heat. With ice added, the clean, refreshing taste was an instant success. Iced tea remains the most popular way that tea is enjoyed in the United States. As a nation that enjoys ice-cold refreshment, iced tea is a healthy, natural alternative. Drinking iced tea can play a significant role in maintaining fluid balance, which is crucial for normal body function. Most adults need about two quarts of fluid daily, which should come from beverages and some fruits and vegetables.
