Which items are excluded from your promotions

ORDERING & PAYMENTS

How quickly will my order arrive?

The time it takes for your order to arrive is the order processing time + the shipping time. Our normal order processing time is two to five business days after your order is placed. Standard US Shipping takes three to five business days, 2nd Day Air is two business days, and Next Day Air is one business day. Some shipping carriers may also experience delays. If you have received a shipping confirmation email, please track the order with the provided tracking link. What are your accepted payment methods?

Tea Forté accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay and Google Pay. All transactions are in U.S. Dollars.

Can I use pre-paid Gift Cards to pay for my order?

YES. When using a pre-paid Gift Card from VISA, MasterCard or AMEX, enter the pre-paid Gift Card number in the Credit Card field in Payments. When using prepaid gift cards, the amount on the card must MEET or EXCEED the amount of your online order. For example, if you have a $50 VISA Gift Card, and your order total is $75, your gift card will be declined, because the card does not have enough funds to cover the entire order total.

Some stores and websites offer their own Gift Cards or Gift Certificates. When used, they simply deduct the amount of the card (for example $50) from your online order total (for example $75). You then pay the remaining balance with a credit card or payment of your choice ($25). Our Tea Forté Gift Certificates and Tea Forté E-Gift Cards work this way.

Do you have gift certificates or gift cards?

YES. Our Tea Forté E-Gift Cards are a perfect alternative to guessing someone's favorite tea blend or product. You may print a Gift Certificate from our website and deliver in person, or, send it via email as an E-Gift Card. Since we do not send a physical certificate or card, there is no shipping charge.

How do I check my Tea Forté Gift Card balance?

If you used a portion of your Gift Card, your remaining balance will be saved for a future purchase. If you do not use your gift card in full, be sure to write down the remaining balance for your next purchase.

Do you have a Subscribe & Save program?

Yes! Subscribe to automatic deliveries and save 15% each time.The choice is yours; with over 100 eligible items, you choose the quantity and shipping schedule that best fits your needs. Do you collect sales tax?

Tea Forté currently collects U.S. sales tax on all orders shipped within the United States. In some cases, additional tax will be charged at the city and/or county level.

Do you offer gift wrapping

We do not currently offer gift wrapping, but we do offer a several gift boxed products. Our gift boxes are as elegant as any gift solution on the market. Please explore our selection.

Are prices listed on the Tea Froté package slip inside my order?

No, your Tea Forté delivery will include a packing slip that does not show any product pricing, taxes, or shipping costs, which is especially helpful when sending a gift. If you are interested in viewing the prices for a past order, you have several options:

Email: Your Order Confirmation email, which is emailed the day you place your order, lists all product prices, taxes, and shipping costs.

Online: If you have an online account with us, click here and sign into your Tea Forté account. Select the order you wish to view and click the “view order” button. All product prices are listed for each order.

Contact Us: Email us at Tea Forté Customer Experience, or call us at 1-800-721-1149, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET. Our representatives can supply you will pricing, taxes and shipping costs of any order you placed on teaforte.com.

TEA QUALITY AND TESTING

What are you doing to ensure the quality and safety of the Tea Forté products?

The quality and safety of all our tea offerings is our mandate, to ensure that you enjoy only the highest quality and safest teas. All of our teas are naturally produced and undergo stringent quality assurance testing for pesticides and microbial contamination from the garden level to the post-harvest facilities, and through the final production processes and handling.

Organic

Tea Forté offers both conventional and organic teas, tea blends, and herbal tisanes to our consumers. All of our teas are rigorously tested for food safety and comply with US and EU regulations. The EU has stricter pesticide standards than the US and it also has test laboratories that detect pesticides at lower levels than US labs. The only way to ensure that teas are pesticide free, whether Camelia sinensis or herbal, is to buy certified organic teas or tisanes. All of Tea Forté organic teas meet both the US and EU standards.

Tea Forté conventional blends, while not organic, undergo strict quality procedures. Washing/cleaning/sorting is one of the early processes for raw agricultural products. Each ingredient (tea, herbs, dried fruits, flowers, spices and other plant ingredients have to be processed and tested according to good manufacturing practices before blending and packing to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the product. All tea ingredients are tested before blending and packaging. All quality, food safety and toxicological safety are ensured in compliance with EU and US pesticide regulations.

Flavors

Tea Forté offers a wide selection of both organic and conventional teas and herbal tisanes with or without flavoring. We use natural flavoring in some of our blends to create a unique taste experience. Flavored teas, both conventional and organic, are safe, clean and of as high a quality as unflavored teas. Tea Forté flavored teas are free from allergens and GMOs.

GMOs

All of Tea Forté products are GMO free. This includes the material for our tea infuser, the ingredients in the teas and the natural flavors.

Packaging

Tea Forté pyramid infusers are made from FDA approved, food safe, recyclable PET silken mesh fibers and hand-crafted into pyramid shape without the use of any chemicals or adhesives. Our pyramid is not made from PLA (poly lactic acid), a derivative of corn. Additionally our infuser material does not contain gluten, GMOs, corn nor any of the eight FDA recognized allergens (tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat or soybeans). Our infuser material has been tested by an accredited third party independent lab for food safety. Tea Forté’s signature pyramid is inert (does not react with boiling water), does not contain heat sealing adhesives and is designed to allow free flow of water for maximum tea infusion.

Is there an expiration date on tea?

Tea does not have an expiration date, but it can start to lose freshness over time. At Tea Forté we label all of our products with a "best by" date to ensure that you experience the best we have to offer.

We do recommend storing your tea in a dry, cool, dark space. Tea needs to be kept away from heat, light, air, and moisture to ensure its freshness. Do not store your teas in the freezer or refrigerator.

Why is there "tea dust" inside my box of pyramid tea infusers?

To an extent some tea dust is normal and due to nature of the product. However excessive dust could be due to a number of factors, such as poor shipping and handling in transit, in combination with very delicate tea with lightweight ingredients, such as Chamomile Citron.

Is your tea certified Kosher?

Many of our teas are certified Kosher by KOF-K. If you are looking to shop exclusively for Kosher Certified teas, start by visiting our Kosher Certified tea page. Is your tea Gluten Free?

Yes, all of our teas are Gluten Free with one exception, our winter seasonal blend Rum Raisin Biscotti, which is no longer in any of our collections since 2020.

Is your tea certified Organic?

Our production facility is certified organic by CERES GmbH, a USDA accredited certification agent. This is an important step in our process of developing certified organic teas, click here for our updated list of Organic Certified teas.

Is your tea vegan

Yes! Our blended teas and herbal tisanes are crafted using plant-derived ingredients and natural flavors including tea leaves, herbs, spices, fruits and flowers and are suitable for vegans.

REWARDS PROGRAM

Do you have a Rewards Program?

Yes! On September 27, 2021 we re-launched our NEW Rewards Program. For every $1 you spend, you earn 1 point (pre-tax). In other words, each time you make a purchase, you receive 5% back in points. How do I earn Rewards points?

First, be sure you login to your Tea Forté account. (Don't have an account? Sign up for free). Once you're logged in, you can start earning points by joining the Rewards program, making purchases, following us on our social media channels, and more! Learn all the ways to earn points on our Rewards Page at teaforte.com/pages/rewards.

How much are Rewards points worth?

100 points are worth $5 off your order, 200 points are worth $10, etc.

How long does it take to receive my Rewards points?

If you earned points by creating an account, your points are added immediately. If you received points by placing an order, your points will be added once the order has been fully processed, paid for and shipped. 

How do I redeem my Rewards points?

First, login to your Tea Forté account. Then at checkout, choose the amount of points you wish to use from the Rewards dropdown menu, located just above the Discount Code/Gift Card field.

Can I redeem any amount of points at checkout?

You must have at least 100 points in your account to start redeeming. At checkout, select an amount from the Rewards dropdown menu and click “Apply”. The options are 100, 200, 300 or 400 points.

Can I use my Rewards points and a discount code at the same time?

Unfortunately, discount codes and Rewards points cannot be combined at checkout, so you must choose to use your Rewards Points or a discount code, but not both. If an automatic discount is applied to your order, you can choose to override the discount and apply your Rewards Points instead.

Can I use my Rewards points and a Gift Card at the same time?

Yes you can!

Are there any exclusions with Rewards Points?

Yes. Tea Forté Gift Certificates, E-Gift Cards and items labeled as "Gift Bundles" (with strike-thru pricing) are excluded from Rewards redemption. However you can earn Rewards points when you purchase Gift Bundles.

Do my Rewards points expire?

Rewards points expire in 1 calendar year if you are not an active customer. Customers can stay active by creating an Rewards account, making a purchase on teaforte.com, receiving points or redeeming points.

What if I return an item, what happens to my Rewards points?

Any points earned for items that are later returned will be deducted from your Rewards Account after the return is processed.

I used to be a Rewards member before the 2021 Rewards re-launch, where are my old Rewards dollars?

Any Rewards dollars that you earned before the 2021 Rewards Program re-launch have been converted into points. To view your Rewards history, login to the Rewards page and click the "Rewards History" button. Any old Rewards dollars will be rolled up into one amount and will be listed under the date Sept 27, 2021.

REFER A FRIEND PROGRAM

How does the Refer a Friend Program work?

Give $10 - Get $10. Refer friends who are new to Tea Forté and give them $10 off their first purchase of $50 or more. You will receive $10 coupon on your next purchase for each friend who makes a purchase using your referral link. SUBSCRIBE & SAVE PROGRAM

How do I get started in the Subscribe & Save Program?

When ordering, simply click the "Subscribe & Save 15%” option and select a delivery schedule of every 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks or 12 weeks. Then click the “Add to Bag” button and checkout as you normally would. There is no special signup needed and you can cancel or edit your details anytime.

Which items are eligible for Subscribe & Save?

Nearly all of our Loose Tea Canisters, Event Boxes, Presentation and Petite Boxes, One Pound Pouches, Tea Over Ice 5pk, Cold Brew, and Single Steeps Samplers are eligible. Some items may not be eligible due to stockouts, so check this page to see all eligible items.

When will my first Subscription order arrive?

Once your order is placed, your delivery arrival time will depend on the shipping option you selected at checkout. All subsequent deliveries will be shipped within the delivery schedule you selected.

How many items can I subscribe to?

You may subscribe to as many items as you like. To view all Subscription-eligible items, visit our Subscribe & Save page.

Is there a fee or other charges to subscribe?

No, subscribing is free! In fact you Save 15% with every Subscribe & Save order.

Can I apply discounts or other coupons to my Subscription(s) orders?

At this time, discounts & other savings are not applicable in addition to the reoccurring Subscriptions.

Do I pay shipping fees on my Subscription(s)?

Shipping charges depends on the cost of your shipment. For example, if you place an order for $49 or more, and your order includes a Subscription item, standard shipping is free within the continental United States. For all subsequent Subscription deliveries, the cost of standard shipping will be applied to your order if it falls under the free shipping threshold for your location. How do I edit or cancel my Subscription(s)?

When you place an order for a Subscription, you will receive an email including a link to edit the details. Click on the link to edit the quantity of items, the timeframe of your deliveries, your mailing address, or you may cancel your Subscription(s) entirely. If you have a Tea Forté Account, you may login from our website and edit your Subscription(s) there as well. If you do not have an Tea Forté Account, you can sign up here for free.

Can I customize my own flavor selection in a Presentation Box?

How do I reset my Tea Forté Account password?

Go to the Forgot Password page, enter the email address that is connected to the account and click submit. You will receive an email within a minute or so requesting to submit a new password. If you do not receive the email, check your Junk folder and Spam filters.

How do I unsubscribe from your promotional emails?

We send occasional updates and promotional offers if you make a purchase or sign-up to our promotional newsletter. If you wish to be unsubscribe, click the "unsubscribe " link at the bottom of any of our emails, or, visit our Email Preference Center to unsubscribe. Your unsubscribe request may take up to 24 hours to be processed, thank you for your patience. Note: You will continue to receive Order and Shipment Confirmation emails for any orders placed.

Can I purchase Tea Forté in a store?

Tea Forté products are sold in many retail stores, spas, and restaurants around the world. To find a list of stores that sell Tea Forté in your area, please use our store locator.
