THE PERFECT CUPFUL

Before it's ready for consumption, black tea undergoes four stages of production: withering, rolling, oxidation, and drying/firing. This process results in slightly higher caffeine levels than green, white, and oolong teas, which are treated with less rigor and impart less energy in return.

Working with small tea gardens dedicated to sustainable practices, Tea Forté selects large, well-shaped leaves from the camellia sinensis plant and processes them by hand, which requires steady patience and deep reverence for the centuries-long tradition of crafting the most exquisite tea blends.

Directions

  1. In a tall pitcher, steep the pyramid tea infuser in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  2. Discard the infuser, and mix in your sweetener of choice
  3. Refrigerate tea for 15 minutes.
  4. Fill a 12 oz glass with 1/2 cup of ice and pour tn the chilled tea.
  5. Top off with the lightly frothed milk. Stir and enjoy!
