ABOUT BLUE TEA
Mystic Açai includes the leaves of the butterfly pea flower, which naturally tints the tea blue as it steeps. Blue tea has been enjoyed for centuries across Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and other nations along the Pacific Rim, reaching beyond these borders to a global audience excited to experience the unique elixir. Rich in antioxidants, blue tea is touted for its ability to tackle free radicals in the body, slowing some signs of the aging process and providing a boost to the immune system. The leaves of the butterfly tea flower are thought to have anti-inflammatory properties, and the tisane’s lack of caffeine and calories make it an ideal beverage for those who are sensitive to stimulants and managing their daily caloric intake.
Mystic Açai pyramid tea infusers are available in the Volaré Collection, our eighth collaboration with The New York Botanical Garden. This blend will be available in a Loose Tea Canister in May 2026.

Made in partnership with The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), the Volaré Collection is inspired by the quiet magic of a hidden garden, where color, light, and imagination meet. Volaré evokes a sense of freedom that this collection seeks to capture. Original watercolors by an NYBG artist capture vibrant blooms in whimsical, dreamlike arrangements, and ivy-clad details. Each blend channels that sense of transformative delight, offering a sensory journey that feels both grounding and otherworldly, inviting you into a garden just out of reach: Orchid Vanilla (black tea), Cherry Blossom (green tea), Citrus Mint (herbal tea), Mango Citron (herbal tea), and the Mystic Açai (herbal tea). All blends are Kosher certified.
