Tea Type: Herbal Tea
Maté is a lightly caffeinated herb that grows in South America and has a range of flavors depending on how it is processed. Tea Forté’s Spiced Herbal Maté has a balanced and earthy taste that is also bright and fresh. You’ll notice citrus notes from the lemongrass and spicy notes which elevate the earthy flavors of the maté. This blend is perfect for those who enjoy a taste that is both fresh, layered, and grounded, perfect to enjoy anytime throughout the day.
This blend features many aromatic ingredients including cinnamon, fennel, rooibos, lemongrass, green maté, lemon verbena, cloves, and marigold flowers. The flavors are carefully selected to work in harmony by creating a perfectly balanced tea that is both refreshing and invigorating. Spiced Herbal Maté has a spicy and comforting aroma with light notes of lemongrass that will delight your senses. Its deep marigold hue makes it a warm and inviting tea for cool autumn evenings.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat water to 208 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Place tea in cup and pour water over the leaves.
3. Steep for 5 minutes.
4. Enjoy!
For loose-leaf iced tea, use 3 tsp per 8-ounce glass.
